Loading dock may be accessed any time depending upon availability and consent from concierge.

10.30am - 4.00pm                                  Monday to Sunday


08.00pm – 5.00am                                 Monday to Sunday


Maximum Vehicle Length 6.5 Metre Heavy Rigid Vehicle.


The onsite concierge will obtain drivers details (mobile phone number and photo id must be provided) the nature of their visit, assess the size of the vehicle and any other relevant details and allocate a car bay.


The driver may then proceed to park in the allocated bay. If required, the concierge will issue the driver with the relevant access card and/or key to gain access to and from their destination. The access card and or key must be signed out and signed back in before the driver will be permitted to leave the loading dock.


Duration of Visit


Vehicles should not remain parked in the loading bay for more than 15 minutes unless prior approval has been by the concierge.  The concierge has discretion to manage the length of time each vehicle remains parked at the loading dock. Should vehicles remain longer than the specified time, an infringement notice may be incurred in accordance with City of Sydney regulations or the driver banned from the loading dock.


Rules


1.   Vehicle engines must be turned off whilst in the dock.  After Hours access must be prearranged with the concierge with 48 hours prior notice and will not be permitted unless a booking is made and adequate identification provided when access is sought.   


2.  Failure to comply with the concierge’s directions may lead to non admittance and can result in the driver or carrier being banned from having access to the Loading Dock. The management and rights of way of all vehicles entering or leaving the Loading Dock are at the discretion of the concierge. 


 3.  If the driver or carrier repeatedly overstays the designated loading period they will be initially warned and then may be indefinitely banned from having future access to the dock. 


 4.  Only delivery vehicles are permitted to use the Loading Dock.  No parking is allowed for any other person including retailers shop fitters contractors or tenant employees.  


 5.  Retailers/tenants are required to pre – book at least 48 hours in advance for shop fitters intending to deliver materials or park mini skips for the purpose of de – fitting.


6.  Any vehicle left unattended for longer than the agreed time may face a future access ban, a fine or may be towed away at the expense of the owner. Any cost incurred by the owner or its representatives in rectifying any spillage of damage to the Loading Dock including but limited to Boom Gates, Boom Gate Controllers, Roller Shutters etc, will be met by the vehicle owner.


7. No unauthorised goods or goods deemed by the concierge to be dangerous are permitted to be delivered through the Loading Dock unless permission is firstly obtained from the concierge. (such permission to be given or withheld at the concierge’s discretion).


8.  No person may bring into the Loading Dock any motor vehicle which:


a)     Is non-roadworthy or excessively noisy.


b)    Exceeds the maximum height restrictions. 


9.     No part of the Loading Dock may be used for the repair or maintenance of any kind or of any vehicle.  


10.  Any person using the Loading Dock must comply with all laws applicable to the use of the Loading Dock including:


a)     All requirements imposed by or on behalf of any appropriate authority having jurisdiction over the loading Dock.  


b)    All laws and requirements regarding fire precautions, insurance and fire alarms.


c)     All road traffic and safety laws and requirements to the extent they are consistent with the concierge’s directions concerning the use of the Loading Dock.


d)    Have all necessary licences and permits. 


e)     Use the Loading Dock and access ways at your own risk and indemnify the owner and their agents from and against any loss which may arise or be suffered or incurred directly or indirectly in respect of destruction or loss of or damage to any real or personnel property or any death, illness or injury to any persons including all legal costs.
